23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
Step back in time with this photograph of Blackpool's iconic tram cars, a beloved relic of the 1930s. The image showcases a collection of vintage trams, including double-decker "balloon" cars and a single-decker variety, as well as a fully open boat tram. Many of these exquisite vehicles, maintained by dedicated enthusiasts, continue to run along the Blackpool tramway, which stretches from Blackpool to Fleetwood on the Fylde Coast in Lancashire, England. Built by the English Electric Company of Preston, Lancashire, these trams are a testament to the rich history of transportation in the area. The English Electric Company, founded by Walter Luff in 1883, was a significant player in the development of the electric tram industry in the UK. The boats, open-topped and reminiscent of seafaring vessels, offer a unique and exhilarating experience for passengers as they travel along the coastline. The Blackpool tramway, the only surviving first-generation tramway in the UK, has become a beloved attraction for tourists and locals alike. The money generated from holidaymakers has made Blackpool famous, and these trams remain an essential part of the resort's heritage. As you gaze at this photograph, you can almost hear the clanging of the tram bells and the distant sound of the sea. Transport yourself back to a bygone era and experience the charm and nostalgia of Blackpool's vintage tram cars.
