17"x15" (43x38cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 17x15 inches (431x381mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This photograph captures the awe-inspiring beauty and grandeur of the Small Temple at Abu Simbel in Egypt, dating back to the circa 1880s. The temple, dedicated to the goddess Hathor and the god Ramesses II, is a mesmerizing example of ancient Egyptian architecture and artistry. Located on the western bank of Lake Nasser, the Small Temple is a smaller counterpart to the more famous Great Temple of Ramses II, which is situated just north of it. Despite its name, the Small Temple is anything but insignificant, boasting intricately carved reliefs and statues that depict various gods and pharaohs. The photograph offers a glimpse into the past, transporting us back in time to an era when ancient civilizations thrived. The sun-kissed sandstone walls of the temple are adorned with hieroglyphics and vivid colors, which have withstood the test of time. The temple's entrance is framed by two massive statues of Ramesses II, each seated on a throne and wearing the crown of Upper and Lower Egypt. The serene and otherworldly atmosphere of the temple is further accentuated by the barren desert landscape that surrounds it. The vast expanse of sand and rock creates a stark contrast to the intricately carved temple, making it a truly breathtaking sight. This photograph is a testament to the enduring allure of ancient Egypt and its rich history. It invites us to explore the mysteries of the past and to marvel at the ingenuity and creativity of the ancient civilizations that once called Egypt home.
