17"x15" (43x38cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 17x15 inches (431x381mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
A Dalesman's Farm, Cumberland" is a captivating oil painting that transports us to the picturesque countryside of Yorkshire, England, circa 1921. The large, white farmhouse, set back from the scene, exudes a sense of warmth and tranquility, its windows reflecting the pastoral beauty of the surrounding landscape. An old stone bridge, weathered by time, arches gracefully over a calm, crystal-clear stream that meanders through the foreground, connecting the farm to the lush greenery beyond. The painting, executed in rich, vibrant colors, showcases the artist's mastery of light and shadow, as the sun casts dappled patterns on the ground and illuminates the farmhouse in a golden glow. The serene atmosphere is further enhanced by the absence of any signs of modernity or industry, transporting us back to a simpler time. This evocative work of art, titled "A Dalesman's Farm," was created by the renowned British artist Frederick Francis Foottet and is featured in the August 15, 1921, volume of a popular magazine. The painting is a testament to Foottet's ability to capture the essence of the Yorkshire Dales and the rural life that thrived there, making it a cherished piece of both historical and artistic significance. The "March of the Women Collection" from Mary Evans Prints Online is proud to offer this exquisite oil painting as a print, allowing art enthusiasts and collectors the opportunity to bring a piece of Yorkshire's rich history and natural beauty into their own homes.
