17"x15" (43x38cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 17x15 inches (431x381mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
In this photograph from the 1960s, the regal head of a long-haired Siamese cat takes center stage. The Siamese breed, known for its distinctive blue points and striking color points on the ears, paws, and face, is often associated with short, sleek coats. However, this long-haired variant showcases an enchanting alternative to the breed's traditional appearance. The cat's piercing blue eyes, set against the contrasting darker fur around them, convey a curious and intelligent expression. Its luxurious, silky fur cascades over its head, framing its face and adding an ethereal allure to the already captivating breed. The softness of the fur contrasts beautifully with the sharp angles and defined features of the cat's head, making for a mesmerizing visual combination. Long-haired Siamese cats are a rare and beautiful variant of the Siamese breed. They were first recognized by the Cat Fanciers' Association in 1978, and their long coats are the result of a recessive gene. Despite their rarity, they share the same distinctive color points and vocal personalities as their short-haired counterparts. This photograph, taken in the 1960s, offers a glimpse into the past of this intriguing breed and showcases the captivating allure of the long-haired Siamese cat. With its striking appearance and unique characteristics, it is a testament to the diverse range of beauty found within the feline world.
