17"x15" (43x38cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 17x15 inches (431x381mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This striking photograph captures a historic moment in British royal history: a meeting between King George V and Queen Elizabeth (later the Queen Mother) in 1935. The image showcases the regal elegance and authority of the monarchs, both dressed in their formal attire. King George V, dressed in his military uniform adorned with epaulettes, exudes a sense of power and dignity. His signature monocle adds an air of sophistication, while his stern expression conveys the weight of responsibility that comes with ruling a nation. Queen Elizabeth, dressed in a elegant gown and wearing a crown, looks poised and confident. Her signature pearl necklace and earrings add a touch of elegance to her regal appearance. The contrast between the dark colors of their outfits and the light background highlights their presence, making them the undeniable focus of the image. This photograph was taken in 1935, a time of significant change for the British monarchy. King George V had reigned for over 25 years, and his health was beginning to decline. Queen Elizabeth, who would later become Queen Consort when her husband, King George VI, came to the throne in 1936, is seen here as a supportive and loyal wife. The photograph is a testament to the rich history and tradition of the British monarchy, and serves as a reminder of the important role that these leaders have played in shaping the country's history. With its intricate details and powerful composition, this image is a must-have for any collection of historical photographs or royal memorabilia.
