23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
1. Title: A Mid-19th Century Dining Room and Study: Three Young Women Engaged in Domestic Pursuits This evocative photograph print, hailing from the mid-19th century, captures a charming scene of a dining room and study, likely from Germany. The room is filled with an air of tranquility and productivity as three young women engage in various domestic pursuits. In the foreground, one young woman sits at a sewing table, her focused expression and nimble fingers deftly maneuvering a needle through a piece of fabric. The table is adorned with a sewing basket, scissors, and other essential tools, all neatly arranged. To her right, another young woman weaves at a loom, her hands moving in a rhythmic, almost hypnotic motion. The loom, with its intricate patterns and rich colors, stands as a testament to her skill and dedication to her craft. In the background, a third young woman works on a cross stitch or tapestry, her frame held steady by her knees as she carefully selects and inserts the next stitch. The intricate design on her frame reflects the intricacy and detail that goes into each stitch. The room itself is a reflection of the era, with its ornate wooden furniture, intricate wallpaper, and delicate table settings. The scene transports us back in time, offering a glimpse into the daily lives of young women during the 19th century. This photograph print is a beautiful reminder of the importance of domestic skills and the dedication and focus required to master them. It is a poignant and captivating depiction of a bygone era, one that continues to inspire and fascinate us today.
