23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
Step back in time to the early 1900s in Denver, Colorado, where three grand hotels - The Brown Palace, The Metropole, and The Savoy - ruled the landscape. This photograph, circa 1909, showcases the architectural beauty and elegance of these iconic establishments, each unique in its design and charm. The Brown Palace Hotel, an American institution, stands proudly on the left, its red-brick facade adorned with intricate stonework and ornate detailing. The hotel's towering turrets and grand archways exude an air of sophistication and luxury, making it a beloved landmark in the Mile High City. Moving to the right, The Metropole Hotel, with its distinctive white façade and elegant columns, adds a touch of European flair to the Denver streetscape. The hotel's stately appearance and imposing presence suggest a sense of grandeur and refinement, making it a popular destination for travelers seeking a touch of old-world charm. Finally, The Savoy Hotel, located at the far right of the image, boasts a more modern design with its clean lines and understated elegance. The hotel's large windows and inviting entranceway beckon visitors to step inside and experience the latest in hospitality and comfort. The photograph also captures the bustling energy of the city, with a horse-drawn carriage making its way down the street and a streetcar passing by. The presence of a church in the background adds a sense of community and spirituality to the scene, further highlighting the vibrant and diverse character of Denver in the early 20th century.
