17"x15" (43x38cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 17x15 inches (431x381mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
Basking in the golden glow of a tranquil sunset, Newstead Abbey, the historic home of the aristocrat and renowned poet, Lord Byron, stands proudly against the backdrop of Nottinghamshire's picturesque landscape. This gothic masterpiece, with its intricately carved stone facade and towering spires, has been a source of inspiration for generations of artists, writers, and visitors alike. The serene lawn, dotted with the vibrant plumage of peacocks, stretches out before the abbey, adding an air of elegance and grandeur to the scene. The once-magnificent abbey, now in the care of the historic houses charity, the National Trust, has witnessed centuries of history unfold within its walls. Byron, a man of both wealth and literary genius, resided at Newstead Abbey from 1808 to 1814. It was during this time that he penned some of his most famous works, including "She Walks in Beauty," "So We'll Go No More a-Roving," and "The Destruction of Sennacherib." The poet's connection to the abbey is deeply intertwined with its rich history, making it a must-visit destination for those seeking to explore the literary and historical significance of this enchanting place. As the sun sets and the day draws to a close, the fountain in the foreground comes alive, casting shimmering reflections on the still waters. The peaceful ambiance of Newstead Abbey, with its gothic architecture, lush gardens, and storied past, invites visitors to step back in time and immerse themselves in the history and beauty of this remarkable place.
