17"x15" (43x38cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 17x15 inches (431x381mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This charming photograph captures the essence of a carefree childhood in the picturesque village of Allerford, Somerset during the 1970s. Three boys in red, yellow, and teal clothing, dressed for a day of adventure, stand at the edge of the Packhorse Bridge, their eyes fixed on the crystal-clear stream below. The eldest boy, wearing a red jumper and holding a long stick, looks determined as he contemplates crossing the bridge. The middle boy, in a yellow shirt, leans over the water, dipping his hand in to test the temperature. The youngest boy, wearing a blue teeshirt, watches his brothers with a curious expression. The Packhorse Bridge, a tall, stone structure with a distinctive red-tiled roof, spans the stream and connects the village on either side. The bridge, with its tall chimneys and quaint cottages in the background, is a testament to the rich history and rustic charm of Allerford. A loyal and playful dog, with its ears perked up and tail wagging, joins the boys at the edge of the bridge. The dog's presence adds to the idyllic scene, as the boys and their canine companion share a moment of joy and camaraderie. The scene is completed by the gentle flow of the clear, cool water over the rocks, the sound of birds singing in the trees, and the warm sunlight filtering through the leaves. This photograph captures a moment in time, a moment of innocence and happiness, that is both timeless and quintessentially English.
