23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
Ankara, the Capital City of Turkey: A Blend of Ancient History and Modern Vibrancy (Ankara, Turkey) Ankara, the capital city and administrative center of Turkey, proudly stands on a hillside in Central Anatolia, boasting a rich history that spans over 4,000 years. Established before 1200 BC by the Hittites, Ankara has been an essential part of various ancient dynastic structures, including the Roman, Byzantine, and Seljuk empires. The city's historical significance is further emphasized by its designation as the capital city during the Ottoman Empire in the late 13th century. The Castle or Citadel, a prominent feature of Ankara's skyline, is a testament to the city's storied past. The walls of this architectural marvel are built from the ruins of various ancient dynastic structures, showcasing a unique blend of historical layers. The castle's fortifications, with their intricate designs and towering minarets, have stood the test of time, offering breathtaking views of the city below. Ankara is not only known for its historical significance but also for its natural and cultural offerings. The city is famous for its Angora goats, the source of luxurious mohair, and the Angora cat, a breed with an equally soft and alluring coat. White rabbits, which produce angora wool, are also raised in the region. Ankara is also renowned for its pears, honey, and the Muscat grapes that grow in the surrounding vineyards. As you wander through the bustling streets of Ankara, you'll be transported back in time while also experiencing the vibrant modern city. The 1930s architectural influence is evident in the city's buildings, adding a unique charm to the urban landscape. A visit to Ankara is a must for anyone seeking to explore the rich history, culture, and natural beauty of Turkey.
