23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
1. Title: "A Musical Journey Through Time: A Choir Outing on an Albion Charabanc in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, South Wales, 1924" 2.. This photograph captures a joyful moment in time as a group of people from a local choir embark on an outing in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, South Wales, in 1924. The scene unfolds outside Morses Refreshment Rooms in Dew Street, where the charabanc, an Albion solid tyred model, is loaded with excited passengers, all adorned in their best caps and suits. 3. The Albion charabanc, a popular form of transport for leisure trips during the 1920s, boasts a distinctive flat front and acetylene lamps, which illuminate the darkened street. The solid tyres, a technological innovation of the time, provide a smoother ride than their pneumatic counterparts. 4. The choir members, dressed in their Sunday best, seem eager to begin their musical adventure, their voices sure to fill the air with harmonious melodies as they travel through the picturesque countryside of South Wales. The sense of community and camaraderie is palpable, as friends and neighbours come together for a day of shared enjoyment and relaxation. 5. The historical significance of this photograph lies not only in the preservation of a bygone era, but also in the celebration of the rich cultural heritage of Wales. The Albion charabanc, with its flat front and acetylene lamps, stands as a testament to the ingenuity and resourcefulness of the people of the time, who found joy and connection in the simple pleasures of a day trip with friends. 6. As the passengers settle in for their journey, the anticipation is palpable, and the promise of a day filled with music, laughter, and new experiences awaits. This photograph serves as a poignant reminder of the power of community, the importance of taking time for leisure, and the enduring allure of the open road.
