17"x15" (43x38cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 17x15 inches (431x381mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This photograph captures Albert Einstein, the legendary German-born physicist, in the prime of his scientific career in 1921. At the age of 42, Einstein's groundbreaking theories had already revolutionized the world of physics. His iconic moustache and wild, unruly hair framed his intense, thoughtful expression, which seemed to suggest the depth of his intellectual prowess. Born on March 14, 1879, in Ulm, Germany, Einstein showed an early aptitude for mathematics and science. He went on to study at the Swiss Federal Polytechnic in Zurich, where he developed the special theory of relativity, one of his most famous contributions to science. In 1915, he published his general theory of relativity, which described gravity as a curvature of spacetime caused by mass and energy. Einstein's work challenged the established scientific paradigms of his time and opened up new avenues of exploration in the realm of physics. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1921 for his discovery of the photoelectric effect, which laid the foundation for our understanding of the behavior of electrons. Despite his many achievements, Einstein remained humble and dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge. He continued to work on various scientific problems until his death on April 18, 1955. This photograph serves as a poignant reminder of Einstein's enduring legacy as one of the greatest scientific minds in history.
