31"x27" (79x69cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 24x20 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 31x27 inches (787x685mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This print from the Liszt Collection transports us back in time to a picturesque landscape painted by Aelbert Cuyp between 1650 and 1660. The scene depicts a serene countryside, where herdsmen guide their cattle along a winding road that runs parallel to calm waters. The soft hues of green and blue dominate the canvas, creating an atmosphere of tranquility and harmony. In the distance, we catch sight of a magnificent round tower rising against the horizon. Its presence adds an element of mystery and intrigue to this idyllic setting. Perhaps it serves as a symbol of human civilization amidst nature's vastness or represents an ancient landmark with its own rich history. Cuyp's masterful use of oil paint brings every detail to life on this large canvas measuring 105 cm in height, 103 cm in width, and 11 cm in depth. The artist's meticulous brushstrokes capture the play of light on water, the texture of grassy fields, and even the individual features of each animal within the herd. As we gaze upon this stunning artwork, we are transported into Cuyp's world—a world where nature reigns supreme and man coexists harmoniously with his surroundings. This print is not just a beautiful piece for display; it is also a window into another era—a moment frozen in time that invites us to reflect on our own connection with both land and livestock.
