23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This stunning print captures the exquisite beauty of the Key-West Dove, showcasing both the male and female specimens. Painted by renowned ornithologist John James Audubon in 1827 and 1838, this artwork is a true testament to his talent and dedication to capturing the natural world. The male Key-West Dove is depicted with vibrant colors, its feathers displaying shades of blue, purple, and green. Its elegant posture exudes confidence as it perches on a branch against a backdrop of lush foliage. In contrast, the female dove appears more subtle but equally captivating with her soft brown plumage. Audubon's attention to detail is evident in every stroke of his brush. The intricate patterns on their wings and tails are meticulously rendered, adding depth and realism to these avian wonders. The artist's mastery of watercolor technique brings life to each feather and creates an ethereal quality that transports viewers into their natural habitat. As we gaze upon this breathtaking illustration, we are reminded of the peacefulness found in observing wildlife in its native environment. The Key-West Dove serves as a reminder that even amidst our bustling human world, there exists a delicate balance between nature's beauty and our own existence. Artokoloro has expertly reproduced this masterpiece from Liszt Collection for us all to enjoy - allowing us to appreciate not only Audubon's artistic prowess but also the intrinsic value of preserving our planet's diverse wildlife species for future generations.
