FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This print from the Liszt Collection showcases the exquisite beauty of the "Bush Clover Ryūganji Temple Kameido series Array" by Artokoloro. Created during Japan's Meiji period (1868-1912) in 1895, this triptych of polychrome woodblock prints is a true masterpiece. The image transports us to Tokyo, where we are greeted by a breathtaking scene depicting the famous Kameido Ryūganji Temple adorned with vibrant bush clover flowers. Ogata Gekkō, a renowned Japanese artist from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, skillfully combines these natural elements with depictions of elegantly dressed women in kimonos. These women symbolize the socially constructed ideal of a good wife and mother prevalent during that era. The delicate ink and color on paper bring life to their graceful presence amidst nature's splendor. Each detail has been meticulously captured, allowing viewers to immerse themselves in this enchanting moment. As we admire this artwork, we can appreciate how Gekkō masterfully intertwines seasonal views with cultural symbolism. The Bush Clover Ryūganji Temple Kameido series Array not only celebrates the beauty of nature but also pays homage to traditional Japanese customs and aesthetics. This print serves as a testament to Artokoloro's commitment to preserving and sharing remarkable pieces like this one from history. It invites us into an era long gone yet forever preserved through artistry and
