31"x27" (79x69cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 24x20 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 31x27 inches (787x685mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
1. Title: A Timeless Icon - White Hart Lane, Tottenham, London (1998) White Hart Lane, a historic landmark in Tottenham, London, is shown in this aerial photograph from 1998. Home to Tottenham Hotspur Football Club since its inception in 1891, this iconic venue has been a cornerstone of the local community and a beloved destination for football enthusiasts for over a century. The image reveals the meticulously laid-out White Hart Lane stadium, with its distinctive horseshoe-shaped stands embracing the lush, green football pitch at its heart. The terraces and seating areas, which once held tens of thousands of passionate fans, are now empty, offering a serene and almost surreal contrast to the bustling energy that once filled this urban recreational space. The photograph also highlights the surrounding urban landscape, with a mix of residential and industrial areas visible in the background. The North London suburbs stretch out in all directions, demonstrating the rich tapestry of life that exists beyond the stadium walls. As the sun casts a warm glow over White Hart Lane, the scene is a poignant reminder of the enduring power of sport and the memories it creates. This aerial view offers a unique perspective on a cherished piece of London's history, inviting us to reflect on the stories and moments that have unfolded within its hallowed grounds. The Aerofilms Collection, from which this photograph originates, is an invaluable resource for understanding the evolution of our cities and the role that sports and recreation have played in shaping them. This particular image, captured in 1998, stands as a testament to the timeless allure of White Hart Lane and the indelible mark it has left on the cultural landscape of Tottenham and London as a whole.
