23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This stunning aerial photograph captures the iconic Houses of Parliament in all their grandeur, standing proudly on the banks of the majestic River Thames. Taken by renowned photographer Damian Grady in September 2012, this image showcases not only the architectural beauty of these historic buildings but also offers a breathtaking view of Westminster Abbey. From this unique vantage point, we are treated to an expansive perspective that highlights both the intricate details and imposing scale of these landmarks. The Gothic spires and ornate facades of Westminster Abbey perfectly complement the stately towers and intricate clockwork of the Houses of Parliament. The composition is enhanced by the vibrant urban landscape surrounding these magnificent structures. The bustling cityscape provides a stark contrast to their timeless elegance, reminding us that history coexists harmoniously with modernity in London's ever-evolving skyline. Grady's masterful capture allows us to appreciate every nuance: from the shimmering reflection on the river's surface to each individual window pane glinting in sunlight. This print transports us into a moment frozen in time, inviting contemplation and admiration for centuries-old architecture that continues to shape our present-day world. Whether displayed as a tribute to British heritage or simply as an awe-inspiring piece of art, this photograph serves as a testament to Damian Grady's talent for capturing historical significance through his lens.
