17"x15" (43x38cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 17x15 inches (431x381mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This print captures the essence of the Church of St Paul, located in Bow Common, Tower Hamlets, London. The image showcases a general view of this architectural marvel that was constructed between 1956 and 1960. Designed by Maguire and Murray, this post-war church stands as a testament to their ingenuity and creativity. The focal point of the photograph is undoubtedly the stunning entranceway with its remarkable door. Crafted with precision and attention to detail, it beckons visitors to step inside and experience the sanctity within. The lettering on the door, skillfully created by Ralph Beyer, reads "This Is The House Of God, This is The Gate Of Heaven" serving as a constant reminder of the spiritual significance held within these walls. The composition beautifully captures both the grandeur and simplicity of this religious structure. Its clean lines and modernist design are juxtaposed against an ethereal sky that seems to embrace its presence. As you gaze upon this image print by James O. Davies from Historic England, you can't help but feel a sense of awe at how architecture can evoke such profound emotions. Beyond being just another building or place for worship, this church holds immense cultural value for its community. It symbolizes resilience in post-war times when faith played an integral role in healing society's wounds. Today it continues to stand tall as a beacon of hope for all who seek solace within its hallowed halls.
