17"x15" (43x38cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 17x15 inches (431x381mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
The Queen's Visit to Her Birthplace: A Royal Homecoming". In this photo print, we are transported back in time to witness a momentous occasion - the Queen's visit to her birthplace, St. Mary's Church in Kensington, London. The year is circa 1897, and the atmosphere is electric with excitement and anticipation. Her Majesty sits regally in a magnificent carriage, accompanied by esteemed guests - the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess Serge of Russia and Princess Henry of Battenberg. As the carriage halts outside the church, onlookers gather around to catch a glimpse of their beloved monarch. Princess Louise, Marchioness of Lorne stands proudly on the pavement holding a beautiful bouquet in her hands while her husband, the Marquis stands beside her. Across from them stands Miss Beatrice Leete, daughter of the Vestry Clerk who presents Queen Victoria with an exquisite basket filled with vibrant carnations. The scene is adorned with flags and bunting as loyal subjects line the streets waving banners to express their devotion. The Household Cavalry ensures order alongside diligent police officers ensuring everyone's safety during this joyous event. This historic photograph captures not only a significant milestone in Queen Victoria's reign but also showcases unity between nations as dignitaries from Russia join British royalty for this special occasion. It serves as a testament to both religious faith at St. Mary's Church and national pride within Britain itself. Preserved through time by Sir Herbert Maxwell’s lens and now immortalized through this remarkable print collection by Heritage Images; it allows us today to marvel at an extraordinary moment when history unfolded before our very eyes.
