31"x27" (79x69cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 24x20 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 31x27 inches (787x685mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This print showcases a mesmerizing artwork titled "Moscow, 1913" by the talented artist Aristarkh Vasilyevich Lentulov. The painting, which can be found in the esteemed State Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow, transports viewers back to the vibrant cityscape of early 20th century Russia. Lentulov's unique style combines elements of expressionism and neo primitivism, resulting in a visually striking composition. With bold brushstrokes and vivid colors, he captures the essence of Moscow with an expressive flair that is both energetic and captivating. The artist's use of facetting adds an intriguing dimension to this piece. By breaking down forms into geometric shapes and planes, Lentulov creates a sense of rhythm within the cityscape. This technique not only reflects his affiliation with avant-garde movements like Jack of Diamonds and Knave of Diamonds but also highlights his innovative approach to capturing urban landscapes. "Moscow, 1913" invites viewers to immerse themselves in the bustling streets and architectural wonders that define this historic city. Through oil on canvas, Lentulov masterfully conveys the spirit and energy pulsating through every corner of Moscow during this era. As we admire this fine art image today, we are reminded of Lentulov's significant contribution to Russian art history. His ability to blend abstraction with recognizable subject matter makes him a true pioneer within the Russian avant-garde movement.
