23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
In this print by Paul Williams - Funkystock, we are transported to the enchanting Ksar Ouled Soltane, a fortified granary near Tataouine in the northern Sahara region of Tunisia, Africa. The image captures the essence of attraction and barrenness that characterizes this historic site. The building stands tall and proud against a cloudless sky, its reddish-orange hues blending seamlessly with the surrounding landscape. Its fixed structure tells tales of ancient civilizations that once thrived in these arid lands. As we gaze at this photograph, our imagination takes flight as we envision the countless stories hidden within these walls. We can almost hear echoes of bustling activity from centuries past when caravans would stop here during their long journeys across the desert. The northern Sahara exudes an otherworldly charm that draws tourists from far and wide. This image perfectly encapsulates its allure – a harmonious blend of architectural beauty amidst vast expanses of desolation. Paul Williams - Funkystock has skillfully captured not just a moment frozen in time but also an entire narrative waiting to be explored. Through his lens, he invites us to delve into history and immerse ourselves in the mystique of this remarkable corner of Africa. This print is more than just a decorative piece; it is an invitation to embark on a visual journey through time and space – an ode to both natural wonders and human ingenuity found within one frame.
