On The Move Two Animals Variation Black Handed Spider Monkey Watercolour Painting
23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This print by Dorling Kindersley showcases the stunning beauty of two unique creatures - the Tube-nosed Fruit Bat and the Woolly Spider Monkey. The artwork, done in exquisite watercolor painting, brings these animals to life with vibrant colors and intricate details. In this horizontal composition, we see a full-length view of both species against a pristine white background. The Nyctimene, also known as the Tube-nosed Fruit Bat, is captured mid-flight, showcasing its graceful movement through the air. Its distinctive tube-like nose adds an element of intrigue to this already fascinating creature. Next to it stands the Brachyteles arachnoides or Woolly Spider Monkey. This majestic primate is depicted in all its glory - from its long limbs and shaggy fur to its expressive face. The artist's attention to detail highlights every strand of hair on this magnificent monkey. The variation between these two animals is striking; one takes flight while the other remains grounded. Yet they are united under one theme - wildlife preservation and appreciation for Earth's diverse inhabitants. This print serves as a reminder of our planet's incredible biodiversity and encourages us to protect these precious species for future generations. Whether displayed in a studio or outdoors setting, it will undoubtedly captivate viewers with its artistic brilliance and evoke admiration for nature's wonders.
