23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
In this print by Michael Nitzschke, a mesmerizing scene unfolds in the vast steppe landscape of Namibia's Hardap Region. The focal point of the image is a large group of Oryx antelopes, gracefully grazing amidst the golden grasses that stretch as far as the eye can see. These majestic creatures, also known as Oryx, are perfectly adapted to thrive in this arid desert environment. The composition showcases the harmonious coexistence between wildlife and nature. Towering mountains serve as a dramatic backdrop, adding depth and grandeur to the already breathtaking scenery. A solitary tree stands tall against the horizon, providing shade and respite for both animals and travelers alike. Namib Desert's UNESCO World Heritage Site status is well-deserved when one witnesses such untouched beauty captured within this frame. With no human presence visible, it becomes evident that nature reigns supreme here. Nitzschke's expert use of color brings vibrancy to every element within the photograph - from the rich hues of green grass to warm earth tones that dominate throughout. This horizontal composition invites viewers into an immersive experience where they can almost feel the gentle breeze rustling through their hair while observing these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. This stunning piece serves as a reminder of our planet's incredible diversity and reminds us to cherish and protect these precious ecosystems for generations to come.
