17"x15" (43x38cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 17x15 inches (431x381mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
In this photograph, we are transported back to the year 1855 in Crimea. The image showcases three prominent figures of the time - Lord Raglan, Omar Pasha, and General Pelissier. Standing side by side, they exude an air of authority and determination. On the left stands Baron Raglan, a British military leader known for his role in the Crimean War. Despite his stoic expression, one can sense the weight of responsibility on his shoulders as he strategizes alongside his allies. Next to him is Michael Lattas, better known as Omar Pasha - a Turkish commander who played a crucial role in supporting the allied forces during this tumultuous period. His gaze is focused yet contemplative, hinting at deep thoughts about their next move. Completing this trio is Aimable Jean Jacques Pelissier, Duc de Malakoff - a French general revered for leading successful campaigns against Russian forces. His presence adds an aura of confidence and expertise to their discussions. As these esteemed commanders huddle together amidst the backdrop of war-torn Crimea before Sevastopol (Sebastopol), it becomes evident that they are engrossed in intense planning sessions. Their collective efforts aim to bring victory closer while navigating through treacherous battlefields. This remarkable print not only captures a pivotal moment in history but also serves as a testament to collaboration between nations during times of conflict. It reminds us of the sacrifices made by these leaders and countless others who
