Bow Tie Pianist

17"x15" (43x38cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 17x15 inches (431x381mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This print showcases the renowned composer Frederic Chopin, captured in a moment of artistic brilliance. Created by Maximilian Fajans, this lithograph is based on an original painting by Ary Scheffer, both masters of their craft. In this portrait, Chopin exudes an air of elegance and refinement as he sits half-length, his posture emanating confidence and poise. His bow tie adds a touch of formality to his attire, highlighting his status as a distinguished figure in the world of music. As one gazes at this image, it becomes evident that Chopin's passion for music radiates from within him. The intensity in his eyes suggests the depth with which he approached each composition and performance. It is through these qualities that he became known as one of the greatest pianists and composers of the Romantic era. The setting chosen for this photograph further enhances its allure. Taken at Bibliotheque de l'Opera Garnier in Paris, France - a hub for artistic expression - it serves as a reminder of Chopin's connection to the cultural epicenter that was 19th-century Europe. This print not only captures the essence of Frederic Chopin but also pays homage to his enduring legacy. It invites us to delve into the world he created through his compositions – a world filled with emotion, beauty, and timeless melodies that continue to captivate audiences today.
