FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 17x15 inches (431x381mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This still life, titled "Still life, game" is a mesmerizing oil on canvas masterpiece by the renowned artist Jan Weenix. The painting measures 96.5x125 cm and can be found at the Musee des Beaux-Arts in Dunkirk, France. In this exquisite composition, Weenix skillfully captures the essence of nature morte or still life with game. The scene depicts an array of animals that have been hunted and are now suspended from hooks. Among them are rabbits and hares, their delicate forms gracefully hanging in mid-air. Their presence evokes a sense of both tranquility and melancholy. The focal point of the artwork is a magnificent dead duck positioned prominently in the center. Its vibrant plumage contrasts beautifully against the muted background, drawing our attention to its intricate details meticulously rendered by Weenix's brushstrokes. Surrounding these creatures is an assortment of poultry meat awaiting preparation for consumption. A cat lurks nearby, perhaps symbolizing both domesticity and danger as it eyes its potential prey hungrily. Jan Weenix's masterful technique brings this still life to life with remarkable precision and realism. Every element within the composition has been carefully arranged to create a harmonious balance between beauty and mortality. As we gaze upon this print from Fine Art Finder, we are transported back in time to appreciate not only Weenix's artistic prowess but also gain insight into historical hunting practices prevalent during his era.
