FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 17x15 inches (431x381mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This print showcases the exquisite Una and the Lion pattern £5 piece, created in 1839 by William Wyon. The gold coin, now housed at The Royal Mint Museum in Llantrisant, UK, was designed to commemorate the beginning of Queen Victoria's reign. As one of Britain's most iconic monarchs (1819-1901), Victoria ascended to the throne on June 20th, 1837. The image depicts a powerful scene where Una, symbolizing truth and purity, fearlessly confronts a majestic lion. With her regal presence and scepter in hand, she represents female strength and resilience. This numismatic masterpiece beautifully captures the essence of royalty. The reverse side of this remarkable coin features an intricately detailed portrait of Queen Victoria herself. Holding a globus cruciger (symbolizing Christian authority) and an orb (representing her dominion over the world), she embodies power and sovereignty. Wyon's craftsmanship is evident throughout this golden treasure; every detail meticulously crafted with precision. From its stunning portrayal of lions to its elegant depiction of Queen Victoria, this £5 piece stands as a testament to both artistic excellence and historical significance. As we gaze upon this extraordinary photograph from Bridgeman Images' Fine Art Finder collection, we are transported back in time to witness a moment frozen forever – an enduring tribute to British monarchy and numismatic artistry that continues to captivate admirers worldwide.
