17"x15" (43x38cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 17x15 inches (431x381mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

Kongens Nytov with the Royal Theatre, Copenhagen, 1939
EDITORS COMMENTS
is a captivating oil painting by Danish artist Robert Panitzsch. The artwork, measuring 55x65 cm and part of a private collection, beautifully captures a scene from early twentieth-century Copenhagen. In this enchanting image, we are transported to the grounds of Kongens Nytov, where the iconic Royal Theatre stands proudly in the background. The painting showcases a treelined garden bathed in natural light during daytime. A vibrant floral display adorns the foreground with an array of colorful flowers blooming against a backdrop of lush greenery. The composition is expertly crafted with attention to detail and shape. The circular flowerbed at the center adds symmetry and balance to the scene while drawing our gaze towards it. Bystanders can be seen enjoying this public garden oasis as they stroll through its paths or find respite on one of its benches. Panitzsch's use of color is particularly striking; delicate pinks and whites dominate the palette, creating an atmosphere that feels both serene and lively. The artist's skillful brushwork brings each petal to life, capturing their delicate textures and subtle variations. This remarkable piece not only showcases Panitzsch's talent but also provides us with a glimpse into Copenhagen's rich cultural heritage during this period. It serves as a testament to how art can transport us across time and space while celebrating nature's beauty within urban landscapes.
