FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 17x15 inches (431x381mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This print showcases Claude Monet's renowned painting "Ombres sur la mer, les falaises a Pourville" or "Shadows on the Sea - The Cliffs at Pourville". Painted in 1882 during the height of the Impressionist movement, this oil on canvas masterpiece measures 57x80 cm and beautifully captures the essence of the French coastline. Monet's brushstrokes effortlessly depict the interplay between light and shadow as they dance upon the sea. The cliffs at Pourville rise majestically from the shoreline, their rugged beauty contrasting with the calmness of the water. The artist's mastery of color is evident in every stroke, as vibrant hues bring life to this picturesque landscape. The English Channel stretches out before us, its vast expanse reflecting both sky and land. Seine Maritime becomes a backdrop for Monet's artistic vision, while Normandy's Haute-Normandie region adds depth to his portrayal. As we gaze upon this scene, we are transported to a moment frozen in time – a serene coastal cityscape where nature meets artistry. This print allows us to appreciate not only Monet's genius but also Bridgeman Images' commitment to preserving fine art for generations to come. It serves as a reminder that art has no boundaries; it transcends time and place. Whether displayed in homes or galleries around the world, this piece continues to inspire awe and admiration for one of history's greatest artists – Claude Monet
