17"x15" (43x38cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 17x15 inches (431x381mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

Reckless Robin - A Whimsical Adventure in the Wild
EDITORS COMMENTS
. This print titled "Reckless Robin (colour litho)" takes us on a delightful journey into the early twentieth century. Created by renowned artist John Hassall, this vibrant illustration showcases a scene from his work "Six and Twenty Boys and Girls". The image captures the essence of childhood innocence and curiosity. Set against a backdrop of towering trees, we witness an accident waiting to happen. A mischievous young boy, with reckless abandon, climbs up a branch that seems ready to snap under his weight. Danger lurks as he reaches out for sticks precariously balanced on other branches. Meanwhile, an adorable squirrel watches curiously from above. The vivid colors bring life to this enchanting moment frozen in time. The lush greens of the foliage contrast beautifully with the bright hues of our protagonist's clothing, adding depth and vibrancy to the composition. With its botanical elements and natural history references, this artwork not only ignites our imagination but also serves as a reminder of nature's unpredictable beauty. It encapsulates both risk-taking adventures and innocent joy that define childhood experiences. As we admire this piece from Fine Art Finder's private collection, it transports us back to simpler times when climbing trees was considered sportswoman or sportsman-like behavior rather than mere recklessness. Let us cherish these moments captured within art's embrace – where wild life meets human spirit in perfect harmony.
