17"x15" (43x38cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 17x15 inches (431x381mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

Port-Eudy, Ile-de-Groix - A Captivating Impressionistic Journey
EDITORS COMMENTS
. This mesmerizing oil on canvas by Henry Moret takes us on a picturesque journey to Port-Eudy, located in the enchanting Ile-de-Groix. With its vibrant colors and masterful brushstrokes, Moret captures the essence of this coastal village in late 19th century France. The painting showcases a serene countryside scene with an elevated view of the coastline. The cliffs gracefully meet the sea, creating a breathtaking backdrop for the sailboats peacefully gliding through the water. The artist's impressionistic style adds a touch of magic to this idyllic setting, as he skillfully plays with light and color to evoke emotion and atmosphere. Moret's attention to detail is evident in every stroke; from the fine textures of each wave crashing against the shore to the delicate play of sunlight dancing upon the sails. This artwork transports us back in time, allowing us to experience both the tranquility and energy that define life by the sea. As we gaze at this print, we are reminded of nature's beauty and man's harmonious relationship with it. It serves as a testament to Moret's talent as an impressionist painter and his ability to capture fleeting moments that resonate deeply within our souls. This print invites us into a world where time stands still - where sailing boats navigate gentle waters amidst stunning coastal landscapes. It is truly an exquisite piece that celebrates not only French art but also humanity's connection with nature itself.
