23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
In this print by Steve Lindridge from EyeUbiquitous, we are transported to the bustling streets of Glasgow, Scotland. Amidst the vibrant cityscape, our attention is immediately drawn to a charismatic Scottish man who exudes an air of old-world charm and character. Dressed in a beanie hat and sporting spectacles perched on his nose, this pipe-smoking street vendor stands proudly behind his newspaper stall. The Evening Times headlines catch the eye as passersby stop for their nightly dose of news. With each puff from his pipe, wisps of smoke dance around him like whispers carrying tales of the day's events. The atmosphere surrounding this scene is palpable; it speaks volumes about the rich cultural heritage that permeates through every corner of Glasgow. This image encapsulates not only a snapshot in time but also serves as a testament to tradition and resilience. As we gaze upon this photograph, we can almost hear the melodic lilt of Glaswegian accents mingling with snippets of conversation and laughter echoing through these historic streets. It reminds us that amidst the rapid pace of modern life, there are still pockets where time seems to stand still – where stories unfold at every turn. Steve Lindridge has masterfully captured both the essence and spirit of this Scottish city through his lens. This print invites us to immerse ourselves in its beauty while paying homage to those who bring its history alive one newspaper sale at a time.
