23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
In this print captured by Ben Molyneux, we are transported back to 17th century England, specifically Oxon in Faringdon. The focal point of the image is a Musketeer's belt, beautifully preserved from that era. This artifact serves as a tangible link to the past and offers us a glimpse into the lives of these brave soldiers who once donned it. The dominant brown hues of the belt evoke a sense of antiquity and authenticity, reminding us of its age and historical significance. The intricate craftsmanship is evident in every stitch and buckle, showcasing the skill and attention to detail that went into creating such an essential piece of military attire. Contrasting against the rich browns are touches of dominant white, adding an element of elegance to this utilitarian object. It hints at how even during times marked by conflict and warfare, aesthetics played a role in defining one's status or allegiance. As we admire this relic from centuries past, our minds wander through Europe's western region where countless battles were fought with muskets blazing. We can almost hear echoes from history as we imagine Musketeers gallantly charging forward on horseback or standing tall defending their honor. Ben Molyneux has masterfully captured not just an item but also a story frozen in time - one that invites us to explore our collective heritage. Through his lens, he transports us beyond mere commercial use; instead offering an opportunity for reflection on our shared human experience throughout history.
