17"x15" (43x38cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 17x15 inches (431x381mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This photograph captures a pivotal moment in the 2006 English Premier League match between Middlesbrough and Everton at the Riverside Stadium. In the heart of the action, Everton's midfield maestro Lee Carsley engages in a fierce battle with Middlesbrough's formidable striker Mark Viduka. The intensity of their confrontation is palpable, as both players jostle for position and size each other up, ready to seize control of the midfield. Lee Carsley, a veteran of over 300 appearances for Everton, was known for his tenacity, grit, and leadership on the pitch. His ability to win the ball and distribute it effectively to teammates was instrumental in Everton's success during this period. Mark Viduka, on the other hand, was a force to be reckoned with up front for Middlesbrough, scoring 52 goals in 111 appearances for the club. The Riverside Stadium, Middlesbrough's home ground since 1995, provides the perfect backdrop for this intense clash between two talented players. The crowd roars in anticipation, their voices echoing off the steel and glass facade of the stadium, adding to the electric atmosphere. The vibrant colors of the players' jerseys and the lush green grass of the pitch create a stunning contrast against the gray skies, making for a truly iconic soccer image. This photograph is a testament to the passion, skill, and determination that define the beautiful game of soccer. It encapsulates the spirit of competition and the unyielding drive of the players to outwit and outmaneuver their opponents, making it a must-have for any soccer enthusiast's collection.
