17"x15" (43x38cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 17x15 inches (431x381mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
In this electrifying moment captured by photographer David Jacobs, the intense footballing rivalry between James McFadden of Everton Football Club and Shaka Hislop of Portsmouth FC is on full display. The year was 2006, and the two players were locked in a fierce battle during a Premier League match. McFadden, known for his blistering speed and technical prowess, charges towards goal with determination and focus, his eyes fixed on the net. Hislop, the experienced Trinidad and Tobago international goalkeeper, stands tall between the posts, ready to thwart any attempt at a goal. The tension in the air is palpable as the two players engage in a high-stakes game of cat and mouse. McFadden skillfully maneuvers around Hislop's outstretched legs, leaving a trail of dust in his wake. The crowd roars in anticipation as the Everton forward prepares to take a shot. But Hislop, not one to be easily intimidated, reacts swiftly, diving to his left to make a stunning save. The ball rebounds, and McFadden seizes the opportunity to try again, but Hislop is once again equal to the task. The back-and-forth between the two players continues, each determined to come out on top. The intensity of their rivalry is a testament to the passion and competitiveness that defines the beautiful game of soccer. This electrifying moment, frozen in time by David Jacobs' camera, is a reminder of the thrilling battles that have defined the sport's rich history. McFadden and Hislop may have been on opposite sides of the pitch that day, but their shared love for football and their unyielding determination to outdo each other created a memorable moment that will be cherished by fans for years to come.
