23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
great photo captures the electrifying moment when Duncan Ferguson of Everton Football Club celebrates his goal against Arsenal during their Premier League clash on January 20, 1996. The image, taken by renowned sports photographer Tony Henshaw, encapsulates the raw emotion and intensity of football as Ferguson lets out a triumphant roar, surrounded by jubilant teammates and Everton staff. The context of this iconic moment is significant in the history of Everton Football Club. Arsenal, then the reigning league champions, were considered one of the strongest teams in the Premier League at the time. Everton, on the other hand, were struggling in the league standings and desperately needed a win to boost their morale and keep their hopes of survival alive. Ferguson's goal, which came in the 85th minute, was a pivotal moment in the game. The Scottish striker rose above the Arsenal defense to head in a cross from Paul Rideout, sending the Goodison Park crowd into raptures and leaving Arsenal stunned. The goal not only secured a crucial victory for Everton but also marked a turning point in their season, as they went on to climb the table and eventually finish in a respectable 11th place. This photo is a testament to the power of team spirit and determination in football. Ferguson's goal and the subsequent celebrations symbolize the unbreakable bond between Everton players and fans, and the indomitable spirit that has defined the club throughout its storied history.
