23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

Focused - Unyielding Defender - An Intense Glimpse into Adam El-Abd's Game

EDITORS COMMENTS
In this photograph, the unwavering concentration of Brighton and Hove Albion FC's center back, Adam El-Abd, is on full display. With a steely gaze fixed on the ball, El-Abd stands as a formidable sentinel, protecting his team's goal from imminent danger. The sun casts an ethereal glow over the pitch, highlighting the grit and determination etched on El-Abd's face. El-Abd's career in professional soccer began in 2004, when he started playing for the youth academy of Israeli club Maccabi Netanya. Over the years, he honed his skills and made a name for himself as a tenacious and reliable defender. In 2011, he joined Brighton and Hove Albion, and quickly became a fan favorite for his unwavering commitment to the team. Despite facing numerous challenges both on and off the field, El-Abd has remained focused and unyielding. In 2013, he was diagnosed with testicular cancer, but he refused to let the diagnosis derail his career. After undergoing surgery and chemotherapy, he returned to the pitch just six months later, determined to continue playing the sport he loved. This photograph captures the intensity and resilience that have come to define El-Abd's game. With every fiber of his being focused on the task at hand, he stands as a testament to the power of determination and the indomitable spirit of a true athlete. Whether facing down opponents on the field or battling personal adversity, El-Abd remains a steadfast defender, both for his team and for himself.
