23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
In this electrifying moment captured at Stamford Bridge on November 30, 2008, Robin van Persie of Arsenal Football Club brilliantly outmaneuvers Chelsea's formidable goalkeeper Petr Cech to score the team's second goal. The Barclays Premier League match was a tense and closely contested affair between two powerhouse teams, with the scoreline delicately poised at 1-1 in favor of Chelsea. Van Persie, then in his prime, was known for his lightning-fast reflexes, exceptional ball control, and clinical finishing. Here, he demonstrates all three qualities in one breathtaking play. With the ball at his feet just outside the penalty area, he assesses his options, feints to the left, and then, with a quick cutback, unleashes a powerful shot towards the goal. Cech, ever-vigilant, dives to his right in an attempt to save the shot, but van Persie's strike is true and the ball sails past him, finding the back of the net. The Arsenal fans in attendance erupt in a cacophony of cheers and applause, their team now leading 2-1. The Arsenal bench and players celebrate the goal, knowing that this pivotal moment could be the turning point in the game. Van Persie's goal not only boosted Arsenal's morale but also showcased his undeniable talent and determination on the pitch. This iconic image, captured by Stuart MacFarlane of Arsenal Football Club, encapsulates the drama, skill, and excitement of a Premier League match and serves as a testament to van Persie's remarkable career.
