17"x15" (43x38cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 17x15 inches (431x381mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
In this electrifying moment captured at Underhill, Barnet, London on the 4th of April, 2005, Robin van Persie of Arsenal Football Club celebrates his goal against Norwich City Reserves in the FA Premier Reserve League South. The Dutch international striker, then 22 years old, was in fine form for the Arsenal reserves, scoring regularly and making a name for himself in the English football scene. Van Persie's goal, Arsenal's fourth of the match, came in the 51st minute and was a result of a well-worked team effort. The build-up to the goal saw midfielder Sebastian Larsson providing the assist with a pinpoint cross from the right flank. Van Persie, with his back to goal, controlled the ball with a deft touch before turning and unleashing a powerful shot into the top corner of the Norwich net. The goal was a testament to Van Persie's clinical finishing and his ability to read the game, as well as his team's passing prowess and attacking intent. The Arsenal bench erupted in jubilation as Van Persie ran towards them, basking in the adulation of his teammates and coaches. The crowd at Underhill roared in approval, adding to the sense of excitement and anticipation that surrounded the young Dutchman. This goal was a significant moment in Van Persie's career, marking his continued progression as a promising young talent in the Arsenal academy. It was a goal that would go down in the annals of Arsenal reserve football history, and a reminder of the potential that Van Persie possessed, which would later see him become a key player for the first team and a fan favorite at the Emirates Stadium.
