17"x15" (43x38cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 17x15 inches (431x381mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
Great photo capturing a pivotal moment in the 2010-2011 Barclays Premier League season between Arsenal and Chelsea at Emirates Stadium. In this image, we see Arsenal's Robin van Persie (#10) in a triumphant pose after scoring a goal, with Chelsea's Ashley Cole (#2) and John Terry (#26) looking on in disappointment. The date is December 27, 2010. Van Persie's goal was a crucial one for Arsenal, as it helped secure a 3-1 victory over their London rivals. The Dutch striker's impressive performance throughout the match earned him the Man of the Match award, as he scored two goals and provided an assist. Cole and Terry, both established English internationals, were key players for Chelsea at the time. Cole, a left back, was known for his defensive prowess and attacking abilities, while Terry, a central defender, was renowned for his leadership and tactical awareness. However, on this day, they were unable to prevent Arsenal from securing all three points. This photo encapsulates the intensity and passion of a derby match between two of the Premier League's biggest clubs. The contrasting emotions of jubilation and dejection are evident on the faces of the players, making this a memorable image from the 2010-2011 season. Stuart MacFarlane, the photographer, expertly captures the moment, with the perfect balance of light, composition, and timing. The use of a wide-angle lens allows for an expansive view of the scene, giving context to the action and adding to the overall impact of the image.
