17"x15" (43x38cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 17x15 inches (431x381mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
In this poignant image captured by Stuart MacFarlane during the Carling Cup Final at Wembley Stadium on February 27, 2011, we find a dejected Nicklas Bendtner of Arsenal Football Club. The Danish striker, who had started the match, watched in disappointment as Birmingham City took a 2-1 lead over his team, snatching victory from the jaws of the Gunners in the final minutes of the game. Bendtner's demeanor speaks volumes about the heartache and frustration that comes with losing a crucial match, particularly one as significant as a cup final. His crestfallen expression, downturned gaze, and slumped posture all convey a sense of defeat and disappointment. The empty seats in the background add to the somber atmosphere, emphasizing the emptiness and quietude that often follows a loss. Despite the disappointment, Bendtner remains a respected figure among Arsenal fans for his dedication and commitment to the team. This image serves as a reminder of the highs and lows that come with being a professional footballer and the importance of staying resilient in the face of adversity. The Carling Cup Final between Arsenal and Birmingham City marked the end of the 2010-2011 season, a season that saw Arsenal finish third in the Premier League and fail to qualify for the Champions League for the first time in over a decade. This defeat at Wembley was a bitter pill to swallow for the Arsenal faithful, but it also served as a catalyst for change and renewed determination in the following seasons. Stuart MacFarlane's photograph captures a moment of raw emotion and vulnerability, offering a glimpse into the human side of professional sports and the rollercoaster ride that comes with being a footballer.
