23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

Caught in a Moth-ment of Tranquility - Turnip Moths Take a Break!
EDITORS COMMENTS
. In this snapshot by Bill Coster, we find ourselves immersed in the serene world of turnip moths. These delicate creatures, known scientifically as Agrotis segetum, have momentarily halted their fluttering escapades to rest upon vibrant foliage in Essex, UK. United Kingdom's wildlife never ceases to amaze! Here we witness the beauty and diversity of European insects firsthand. The turnip moth stands out with its enchanting wingspan and intricate patterns that resemble an artist's brushstrokes on canvas. As if choreographed by nature itself, these solitary moths have come together for a peaceful rendezvous amidst lush greenery. It seems they've formed an exclusive club where relaxation takes center stage. Perhaps they're exchanging tales from their nocturnal adventures or simply enjoying some well-deserved downtime. While butterflies often steal the spotlight with their flamboyant colors, these humble moths remind us that there is elegance even in simplicity. Their unity showcases the strength found within solitude – proving that sometimes it's okay to take a break from our busy lives and just be still. So let COS-3819 serve as a gentle reminder: embrace moments of tranquility whenever you can; after all, even tiny insects understand the importance of resting one's wings before taking flight again into life's extraordinary tapestry!
