23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
Whale's Got a Fishy Surprise: A Jaw-Dropping Feeding Frenzy!". In this incredible snapshot captured by photographer Francois Gohier, we witness the majestic FG-5244 (aka Fin whale) indulging in a mouth-watering feast. The scene unfolds in the vibrant Bay of La Paz, nestled within Mexico's Gulf of California. With its massive body turned on its right side, our finned friend lunges through a swirling school of sardine larvae. Talk about being at the right place at the right time! As we gaze into the bottom of FG-5244's open mouth, an enchanting orange-pink hue greets us head-on. But that's not all – take a closer look and you'll spot part of its baleen system peeking above the lower jaw on the left corner. This intricate filter-like structure helps our marine marvel sift out tiny fish from vast amounts of water with ease. FG-5244 is one rare sight to behold! As an endangered species belonging to the rorqual and baleen whale families, it reminds us just how crucial it is to protect these gentle giants and their marine habitats. So next time you're daydreaming about fishing or hunting for your own meal, remember this awe-inspiring moment frozen in time. Let FG-5244 be your inspiration as it gracefully navigates through Mexican waters – proving that sometimes even whales can't resist a scrumptious seafood buffet!
