17"x15" (43x38cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 17x15 inches (431x381mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This photograph takes us back in time to the bustling streets of Rome in the late 19th century. In front of the magnificent Church of Santa Maria in Cosmedin, a scene unfolds that encapsulates both the rich history and vibrant culture of this ancient city. Wagonloads upon wagonloads of fresh vegetables are stacked high, creating a colorful display against the backdrop of the church's Romanesque architecture. The Piazza della Bocca della Verita comes alive with activity as locals gather to purchase their daily provisions from these abundant harvests. The Church of Santa Maria in Cosmedin stands tall and proud, its medieval origins evident in every stone. Its weathered facade bears witness to centuries gone by, while its intricate details tell tales of devotion and faith. This sacred place has been an integral part of Roman life since its construction between the 8th and 12th centuries. As we gaze at this remarkable image captured by Roesler Franz Ettore, we are transported not only through time but also into a world where religion intertwines with everyday existence. The juxtaposition between commerce and spirituality is striking; it reminds us that even amidst the hustle and bustle of daily life, there is always room for reverence. This photograph serves as a testament to Rome's enduring legacy – a city where ancient traditions seamlessly blend with modernity. It invites us to reflect on our own connection to history, reminding us that within these walls lies an unbroken chain stretching across millennia. Whether you find solace within religious structures or seek inspiration from architectural marvels like this one, let this print serve as a reminder that beauty can be found wherever tradition meets innovation – just like it does here on those busy streets outside Santa Maria in Cosmedin all those years ago.
