Automobile Buttress Cusp Single Light Window Spire With Actiongothic By Land On The Road

17"x15" (43x38cm) Premium Frame

FSC real wood frame with double mounted 10x8 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 17x15 inches (431x381mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This print captures a breathtaking view of the Palazzo Reale on the right side of the Cathedral of Milan. The image, taken in 1955, showcases the remarkable architecture that dates back to the XIV-XVI centuries, with some elements added in the XIX century. The artistic composition beautifully portrays various renowned artists who contributed to this magnificent structure throughout history. From Dolcebuono and Giovanni Giacomo Solari to Guiniforte Solari and Amadeo Giovanni Antonio, their collective genius is evident in every intricate detail. Pietro Antonio Solari and Pellegrino Tibaldi also left their mark on this architectural masterpiece. The photograph not only highlights the grandeur of these historical figures' work but also provides a glimpse into life during that time period. In addition to showcasing Gothic and Middle Ages influences, it offers insight into transportation methods prevalent at that time. An automobile can be seen traversing the road adjacent to this iconic landmark. As we gaze upon this scene, we are transported back in time; our eyes drawn towards each cusp, spire, buttress, and decorative element adorning both church and palace alike. The single light window illuminates an ethereal glow against a backdrop of bustling city streets. Alinari Fratelli's expert photography allows us to appreciate not only the architectural brilliance but also captures a moment frozen in time - one where tradition meets modernity as cars navigate through ancient streets. This print serves as a testament to Europe's rich cultural heritage spanning over multiple millennia while reminding us of its enduring beauty for generations past and present alike.
