23"x19" (58x48cm) Premium Frame
FSC real wood frame with double mounted 16x12 print. Double mounted with white conservation mountboard. Frame moulding comprises stained composite natural wood veneers (Finger Jointed Pine) 39mm wide by 21mm thick. Archival quality Fujifilm CA photo paper mounted onto 1mm card. Overall outside dimensions are 23x19 inches (584x482mm). Rear features Framing tape to cover staples, 50mm Hanger plate, cork bumpers. Glazed with durable thick 2mm Acrylic to provide a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish. Acrylic Glass is far safer, more flexible and much lighter than typical mineral glass. Moreover, its higher translucency makes it a perfect carrier for photo prints. Acrylic allows a little more light to penetrate the surface than conventional glass and absorbs UV rays so that the image and the picture quality doesn't suffer under direct sunlight even after many years. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Please note that, to prevent the paper falling through the mount window and to prevent cropping of the original artwork, the visible print may be slightly smaller to allow the paper to be securely attached to the mount without any white edging showing and to match the aspect ratio of the original artwork.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This print takes us back in time to the bustling Piazza San Marco in Venice, offering an animated view of its magnificent architecture. The focal point is undoubtedly the grand facade of the Basilica, standing tall and proud against the backdrop of a clear blue sky. The stereoscopic photography technique used here adds depth and dimension to the image, making it come alive before our eyes. As we examine this snapshot from 1902, we are transported even further into history as it showcases structures dating back to the 9th through 18th centuries. Intriguingly, amidst this architectural marvel, a group of pigeons gracefully take flight. These birds add a touch of movement and life to an otherwise static scene. They remind us that while time may pass and civilizations evolve, nature continues its eternal dance. Every element within this frame tells a story - from the intricate building elements and decorative sections adorning each structure to the arches, domes, cupolas, spires, lunettes - all meticulously crafted with religious symbolism in mind. This church stands not only as a place of worship but also as a testament to Europe's rich cultural heritage spanning over multiple millennia. Beyond just capturing architectural beauty alone though, this photograph offers us glimpses into daily life during medieval times. The square itself teems with activity; people going about their routines on urban streets lined with shops and cafes. As we gaze upon this remarkable piece by White H. C Co Publishers from Alinari collection , let us appreciate both its artistic value and historical significance – reminding ourselves that photographs have an incredible power to transport us across time and space
