The first all female crew to sail around the world, skippered by 27 year old Tracy Edwards, return home to Britain on their yacht " Maiden" as it was escorted by small boats through buoys at Southampton.
The crew were away for nine months as they took part in the Whitbread Round the World Yacht Race, finishing second in its class and winning two out of six individual legs of the race.
