EDITORS COMMENTS
This print takes us back to March 1988 in Tyne Tees, North East England, where the iconic English band Bros. was captured in their prime. The image showcases the three members of the band from left to right: Craig Logan, Matt Goss, and Luke Goss. Formed in 1986 in Camberley, Surrey, Bros. initially consisted of twin brothers Matt and Luke Goss along with their friend Craig Logan who attended Collingwood School with them. The trio quickly gained chart success and a massive teenage fanbase in 1988 with hit songs like "When Will I Be Famous" and "I Owe You Nothing". However, shortly after this photograph was taken, Logan decided to leave the band. Undeterred by this setback, the talented Goss twins continued as a duo and released two more albums before ultimately parting ways in 1992. Despite disbanding for nearly three decades, Bros. made an impressive comeback by releasing a TV documentary in 2018 that provided fans with an intimate look into their journey. They also delighted audiences once again by performing live concerts throughout 2019. Preserved through time on this picture taken on March 8th, 1988; it serves as a nostalgic reminder of Bros. 's meteoric rise to fame during the late '80s and early '90s music scene—a testament to their enduring impact on pop culture history.
