Poster Prints are of comparable archival quality to our Photographic prints, they are simply printed on thinner Poster Paper. Whilst we only use Photographic Prints in our frames, you can frame Poster Prints if they are carefully supported to prevent sagging over time.

Poster prints are budget friendly enlarged prints in standard poster paper sizes (A0, A1, A2, A3 etc). Whilst poster paper is sometimes thinner and less durable than our other paper types, they are still ok for framing and should last many years. EDITORS COMMENTS
This print takes us back to the winter of 1991, when nature's icy grip transformed the mighty River Tyne into a frozen wonderland. The scene is set in Newburn, North Tyneside, where the river's normally flowing waters were stilled by an intense cold spell. As we gaze upon this snapshot from the past, we are reminded of the power and beauty that Mother Nature possesses. The image captures a moment frozen in time - quite literally - as thick layers of ice blanket the river's surface. The frigid temperatures have turned this bustling waterway into a serene tableau of stillness and tranquility. It is as if time itself has been suspended beneath this crystalline sheen. The stark contrast between the frozen river and its surroundings evokes a sense of awe and wonder. The barren trees stand tall against a backdrop of pale blue skies, their branches reaching out like skeletal fingers towards the heavens above. This monochromatic landscape creates an ethereal atmosphere that transports us to another era. As we reflect on this photograph, we can almost feel the biting chill in our bones and hear the faint crackling sound as footsteps break through thin layers of ice. It serves as a reminder that even amidst harsh conditions, life persists – dormant but resilient until warmer days arrive. This remarkable piece from Memory Lane Prints allows us to relive history through visual storytelling; it encapsulates not only a specific moment in time but also our collective fascination with seasons' ever-changing dance with weather
