A2 Poster (59.4 x 42cm, 23.4" x 16.5" inches) printed on 170gsm Satin Poster Paper. Securely packaged, rolled and inserted into a strong mailing tube and shipped tracked. Poster Prints are of comparable archival quality to our Photographic prints, they are simply printed on thinner Poster Paper. Whilst we only use Photographic Prints in our frames, you can frame Poster Prints if they are carefully supported to prevent sagging over time.
Poster prints are budget friendly enlarged prints in standard poster paper sizes (A0, A1, A2, A3 etc). Whilst poster paper is sometimes thinner and less durable than our other paper types, they are still ok for framing and should last many years. Our Archival Quality Photo Prints and Fine Art Paper Prints are printed on higher quality paper and the choice of which largely depends on your budget.

EDITORS COMMENTS
This evocative image transports us back in time to the historic city of St. Louis, Senegal, in 1835. Established in 1659 by French colonizers, St. Louis was once a thriving colonial outpost and an important trade center between Africa and Europe. The city was named after King Louis IX of France and was strategically located at the confluence of the Senegal and River Gambia, providing easy access to the rich natural resources of the region. In this photograph, we see the iconic palm tree-lined promenade of St. Louis, with the majestic silhouette of the historic fortress, Fort Saint-Louis, standing proudly in the background. The fortress, built in 1672, served as a symbol of French power and control in the region for over two centuries. The palm trees, a symbol of the tropical climate and the abundance of natural resources, add a sense of tranquility and beauty to the scene. The image also captures the vibrant colors of the African textiles and the bustling activity of the local population, adding to the rich cultural tapestry of this historic city. This photograph is a testament to the rich history and cultural significance of St. Louis, Senegal, a city that has played an important role in the global history of trade, exploration, and colonialism. Today, St. Louis remains an important cultural and historical site, attracting tourists from around the world who come to explore its fascinating past and experience its unique blend of African and European influences.
